See how NIHF responded
to Hurricane Florence

when hurrincane florence made landfall in north carolina

on Sept. 14, 2018, many schools across the state were deeply affected - including nine schools that had partnered with NIHF and camp invention for serveral years.

As families were displaced from their homes and schools sustained significant damage, many students missed more than 20 days of school.

The team at the National Inventors Hall of Fame came together to raise funds and collect school supplies for those in need.

Our team provided supplies for nine schools, as well as funds for seven of those schools.
